Warranty Support Programme (WSP) is designed to provide physical storage, inventory management and delivery of technology products set aside to replace reported faulty product in the field, which is still under warranty. The WSP fills a business need for offshore based Customers largely, who market and sell their technology products globally but who do not have local infrastructure in certain regions, for the rapid delivery of replacement product to customers who experience product failure which could not be remedied through remote support.
We manages and ship Customer owned warranty support inventory within South Africa, to regions in rest of Africa and recovers the faulty products for repair, refurbishment or recycling, returning working product to warranty support inventory in a rotational model.
Where products cannot be repaired or refurbished locally, in our diagnostics, trouble-shooting and root-cause laboratory, these are shipped back to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for repair and return to us.
We serve as local proxy for offshore Customers standing in as importer of record, exporter of record and for securing necessary regulatory certification from the likes of the NRCS and ICASA.
